Landscape lighting design & installation in Solano, Napa & Sonoma County
We design and install low-voltage LED landscape lighting for homes across Solano, Napa and Sonoma County. Every fixture goes on a written plan with its job, its beam, its brightness and its color before any cable goes in. Then the system is switched on at dusk, each light is aimed, and you walk it with us.

Every fixture, and why it’s there: what it lights, how wide its beam is, how bright it runs and what color it glows. A good plan also places the transformer, the cable runs and the hour the lights go off. Tap a fixture on this sample front yard to see its line on the plan.
A touch more amber.
Ten fixtures, one transformer.
Four path lights, two tree uplights, two wall washes and two downlights. Pick a fixture on the plan or in the list to see why it’s there.

What the wall-wash lines on a plan look like once it’s dark.

Warm light, never blue-white.
Every fixture we fit glows warm white, close to an ordinary household bulb. Blue-white light makes stucco look cold and reads like a parking lot. Shielded caps keep the bulb itself out of sight, so you see the lit tree or path, not the glare, and the neighbors’ windows stay dark.

It starts with a walk and ends with one after dark.
In between, you get a written plan: how many fixtures, the transformer, the cable runs and the zones. After the install, the system comes on at dusk, every fixture is aimed at its target, the timer is set, and you walk it with us.
Walk it at dusk
The path, the trees worth lighting, the windows to keep glare out of and the neighbor’s side, plus any existing transformer’s load.
Get the plan in writing
Every fixture’s type and place, the transformer, the cable runs and the zones, like the sample above.
Install it
Buried cable, waterproof joints, the transformer by an outdoor outlet, then every fixture aimed at dusk with you.
Keep it aimed
A service visit re-aims, cleans, checks every connection and resets the timer; older halogen can often move to LED.

We always look for any issues and explain any possible complications to clients before they arise when it comes to Low Voltage Lighting System & Sprinkler System / Lawn Care needs!
3-year warranty on qualifying irrigation and lighting systems.

The sprinklers and the lights share the same beds.
Most lighting trouble starts at ground level. A spray head that hits a fixture leaves mineral film on the lens. Wet, settling soil tips stakes off their aim. A trench dug for one system can cut the other. Eco Scapes runs irrigation and lighting with one team, so the drip line and the lighting cable can be planned together, heads can be set to miss the fixtures, and one visit can check both.
They did an excellent job installing a landscape lighting system and a drip irrigation system for my property.
If we also look after the lawn, the people mowing over your cable know exactly where it runs.
Lighting, before you call.
It depends on the plan.
Fixture count, cable length and transformer size set the price, so the honest number comes after a walk of your property. Call us and we’ll quote it free and in writing before anything is scheduled.
Yes.
The first visit measures the transformer’s load against its rating and checks the connections and the voltage at the far fixtures. If there’s spare capacity, new lights join the existing runs; if not, a second transformer carries them on their own zone. Older halogen fixtures can often be converted to LED.
It depends on the town.
Some towns, Windsor among them, set limits on how bright, what color and how late outdoor lights can run. Tell us your town when you call, and the plan is drawn to its rules from the first sketch.
Yes, repairs and installs.
We fix and install lighting in Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park, Windsor, Cotati, Petaluma and Sonoma. Right now, repairs are what we’re scheduling first there, so if part of your system has gone dark, give us a call. Sonoma County is new for us, so the reviews and job photos on this site come from Solano and Napa.
Put every light on a plan.
We walk the yard first, and the written quote is free.
