When can you water in Suisun City?
Any day, as often as needed, as long as it isn’t wasteful.
Not within 48 hours of measurable rain. No watering that runs off.
Sprinklers can run. No set days or hours. Let the slow ground set how often.
Eco Scapes.Eco Scapes is based in Suisun City, and we look after lawns, sprinkler and drip systems and landscape lighting here. The city sets no watering days and much of its ground takes water slowly, so a smart controller sets the schedule by the weather.

Suisun City’s water comes from Lake Berryessa, through the Suisun-Solano Water Authority.

Half a smart controller’s cost, up to $300.
Replacing lawn: $1.50 a square foot, up to $1,500, approved before any lawn comes out.

“Any day” only works with a controller that knows which days. We fit one after checking the heads, valves and pressure it will run. Lawn conversions are planned to SCWA’s terms: drip under the new beds, and the lawn stays until the approval arrives.
Next door, Fairfield and Vacaville do set hours; the watering rules guide lists them.

Much of Suisun City sits on ground that takes water slowly, and near the marsh some of the soil holds salt. A rule that allows watering any day doesn’t make daily watering right.
A July schedule left running into winter floods wet ground. We program each zone for the month, and on the smart controllers we install, run times follow the weather and skip after rain. Summer afternoons are windy, so narrow side strips go on drip. More on how we lay out a system is on the irrigation page, and what the wind does to heads is on sprinkler repair in Fairfield.
Many systems here are original to houses built in the 1970s and 1980s. We start with a zone-by-zone diagnostic, then replace the valves that need it with Rain Bird anti-siphon valves, run new wire instead of patching, and seal every connection.

Eco Scapes is based in Suisun City, and on Nextdoor (opens in a new tab), neighbors in Whispering Bay have named it a Neighborhood Favorite. Most work starts with one job, a repair or a new controller, agreed in writing first. Then the same crew keeps the lawn, beds and irrigation on one care program, with landscape lighting checked on those visits.

Next door, Fairfield runs on different water rules and a different clay. Every Solano town is on the Solano County page.
Any day, if not wasteful.
As often as needed, too. The city's water rules bar watering within 48 hours of measurable rain, watering that runs off, hosing down paved areas and hoses without a shut-off nozzle.
Lake Berryessa.
The Suisun-Solano Water Authority, formed by the city and the Solano Irrigation District, treats Lake Berryessa water for the city.
$1.50 a sq ft, up to $1,500.
The Solano County Water Agency pays that for lawn replaced with water-efficient planting. Wait for its Notice to Proceed before removing anything. The new area must be watered by drip, micro-spray, bubblers or hand, and artificial turf doesn't qualify.
Usually the ground.
Much of the city sits on loam over a dense clay subsoil that takes water very slowly, and near the marsh the soil holds salt. Frequent light watering keeps it wet and can build salt. Check for a broken head, then water less often, in shorter cycles.
